The Longevity Secret of 20 Minutes to Fitness

When former body builder Virginia Phillips first heard of 20 Minutes to Fitness, she was skeptical. However, research and experience proved that following the 20 Minutes to Fitness regime produces solid short- and long-term benefits for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Over the last two decades, Virginia has worked with General Manager and co-owner Angela Begin and a dedicated team of Certified Personal Fitness Coaches at 20 Minutes to Fitness to help clients improve their health. By using specialized equipment and techniques that focus on peak muscle performance, clients reverse the signs of aging, increase muscle while burning fat, reverse osteoporosis, improve balance, and experience many more immediate and long-term results.

As Virginia explains, it’s best to begin taking care of muscles early in life to avoid the onset of sarcopenia. “Sarcopenia is an age-related disease that is the result of gradual loss of muscle,” she says. “Without intervention, we can lose an average of 8-10 pounds of muscle each decade. If we're not doing something to reverse that loss of muscle, we're going to have serious problems later in life because muscle is the body’s engine, it's what pulls the blood flow and oxygen throughout all our organs.”

Improving muscle health also helps increase bone density, lessening the chance of serious injuries. “What we do impacts our bones and everybody is going to lose bone if you're not doing something to counteract that loss,” says Virginia. “This is a very effective way for people at any age to gain muscle tissue and increase bone density because we follow osteoporosis studies very diligently and take muscles to peak performance using our high-end specialized equipment. So, we not only work to increase muscle tissue, but when you're taking it to that peak performance, you're gaining bone density as well.”

The 20 Minutes to Fitness team works with clients of all ages and fitness levels as well as people with medical conditions such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and dementia. “Not only is our team extremely qualified, but they are compassionate,” shares Virginia. “They are dedicated and passionate about helping people and I love watching them care for those they are working with.”

20 Minutes to Fitness makes it easy to integrate the program into a busy schedule, as it only takes about 20 minutes one time a week to see results, is a sweatless workout in a cool environment, and clients can do everything in regular street clothes. There are no contracts or membership fees and sessions are by appointment. During sessions, clients are always under the supervision of a Certified Personal Fitness Coach.
