The Strongman Champions League made history during its thrilling U.S. debut on Sandusky’s Shoreline Drive in 2025. Local fans witnessed a jaw-dropping showcase of pure grit that culminated in an official, newly crowned Guinness World Record.
Using an arm-over-arm setup, Canadian powerhouse Wesley “The Moose” Derwinsky shattered the record for the heaviest boat pull over 20 meters. Derwinsky single-handedly dragged a colossal, 118.82-tonne (261,953-pound) ferry, complete with 130 waving passengers, straight to dock in just 1 minute and 18.3 seconds.
