Chances are, Bliss Home Market has it, new, in stock and ready to go home with you on shopping day. There’s no 12-week wait for delivery, no hovering sales staff and best of all, you’ll find quality, name-brand items at up to half the price of what you’ll find anywhere else. It’s a style paradise—Bliss to be sure!

Bliss Home Market is the first franchise of its kind, a branch of its original flagship store in Columbus by the same name. Located just past the intersection of Allen and Muhlhauser Roads in West Chester, Bliss is only open one weekend each month, offering a unique shopping experience that boasts amazing prices.

“Bliss Home Market is a once-a-month warehouse event featuring all new home furnishings from big brand names that people will recognize,” explains Franchise Owner Whitney Wedding.

Wedding, who has a natural eye for design and practical experience outfitting an Extreme Home Makeover home and two personal home-builds, fell in love with the style and ease of Bliss Home Market. She couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring the unique experience to the area.

“We picked this area because of its proximity to both Cincinnati and Dayton,” Wedding says. “It’s quite convenient. There are other design stores in the area that I love, and we fit right in.”

Here’s how this shopping concept works. Wedding and her team go on the hunt and curate new, high-end furniture and home décor directly from manufacturers to fill their West Chester warehouse. They search for quality, well-known furniture pieces you may also find at places such as Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn and other popular stores. They fill their warehouse with leather couches, spacious sectionals, swivel chairs, beds, dining tables, rugs, lighting and mirrors—if your home needs it, they’ve got it. They stage it in sample room settings, complete with side tables and accessories like art, faux plants, coffee table books and pillows, making it easy for shoppers to envision the pieces in their own homes.

“The style at Bliss is coastal transitional,” Wedding shares. “The vibe is welcoming, airy and natural but it’s also family-friendly and durable. Ninety percent of the fabrics are performance fabrics, resistant to stains and easy to clean.”

One weekend each month, usually the second or third weekend of the month as advertised on Bliss’ social media, the sale opens to the public. Shoppers can touch the fabrics, test the cushions and try the pieces for size and comfort—luxuries that make online furniture shopping such a challenge. When you buy it, you take it home the same day—it’s as easy as that.
