If you’ve ever walked into your closet wondering where to find your favorite outfit, it might be time to schedule a closet makeover with the experienced designers at Closet Concepts HTX. Their staff helps clients restructure their living spaces so they can have better organization in their home and life.
“Part of the goal is to give people more function,” says Hilary Pavia, CEO and co-founder of Closet Concepts HTX. “We’re here to think about that for you and put in the correct support.”
Hilary, along with her co-founder Ricky Patel, launched the company in April 2019. The two bring years of experience working together in the closet-storage industry as project managers. Within two days of launching Closet Concepts HTX, they landed a $51,000 contract. The business grew tremendously, especially during 2020 when more homeowners were looking for ways to refresh and reorganize their living space.
What sets Closet Concepts HTX apart is its local ownership and operation. The company prides itself on local workmanship and constructing materials in-house at its 14,000-square-foot Houston facility.
“All parts are made here, so if there is a problem, we can jump right on it,” Hilary says. “We’re not waiting on people or shipments. Everything is right here.”
The company can design custom closets from scratch or restructure plans brought in by customers. The design process starts with a detailed consultation alongside an experienced designer. The designer will ask questions about storage needs, walk through the living space and answer any questions the homeowner may have. Some clients are looking for a better way to organize their clothing while others might be looking for a way to showcase their most prized fashion pieces such as designer purses or shoes.
“We want to make sure the clients get the time and attention they deserve,” Hilary says.
"Closet designs are often built to be adjustable so people can reconfigure their system over time. Each system is engineered to last," Ricky says, "and Closet Concepts HTX work comes with an optional lifetime warranty."
Once a design is created and approved, the homeowner makes stylistic choices such as choosing a wood finish or paint color. Closet Concepts HTX adds finishing touches that are as custom as the client’s imaginations.
On the day of installation, the Closet Concepts HTX team likes to make the experience as painless as possible. Installations can take anywhere from two or three days and include removal of the existing system. The crew will install shelving that’s pre-measured, cut to size and ready to go. There’s no setting up big saws in the driveway like other types of home improvement projects. Homeowners, in fact, need not even be home during an installation. After the work is complete, the crew will add a fresh coat of paint of the client’s choice to match the room.
While Closet Concepts HTX is most known for its closet work, its organization systems extend far beyond closets. The company can redesign pantries, craft rooms, laundry rooms, home offices and entertainment centers. One of their most notable projects included adding a slat wall and extra storage to a cramped garage. This allowed a way for owners to store sports equipment, children’s toys and other belongings.
As the company continues to grow, Hilary and Ricky pride themselves in creating high-quality, custom designs and materials. All company staffers have worked in the closet-storage industry for years and combined have more than three decades of experience.
“We are always going to do everything we can to make sure our customers get the best product they can get,” Ricky says.
So next time you’re searching for a lost clothing item in your closet, know that a neatly organized space is more attainable than you might think with a little help from the designers at Closet Concepts HTX.
