Three Different Festivals for Every Kind of Fan

There’s nothing like summer in Colorado—and that’s especially true for fans of live music! Denver is a melting pot, and our festival calendar proves that there’s truly something for everyone. So check your calendar, secure your tickets and get ready to boogie!

Outside Festival

June 1-2, Civic Center Park

Outside is on a mission to help more people enjoy the outdoors, so they’re launching a festival, in partnership with the state of Colorado and Visit Denver.

The lineup includes Thundercat, Fleet Foxes, Lettuce, and Say She She, and there will be speakers, like Diana Nyad and Shaun White.

They’ll also have climbing walls and competitions, cycling challenges, and more.

Tickets start at $44.

Five Points Jazz Festival

June 8, Welton Street in Five Points

Every year, Denver Arts & Venues puts on a family-friendly, free event in historic Five Points. From 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., local favorites and international legends take to multiple stages, turning the day into the ultimate block party, complete with delicious vendors.

They also use the event to honor individuals who have made enduring contributions to jazz and culture in Denver and beyond.

If you’re interested in getting more involved, there’s a call for volunteers.

Underground Music Showcase

July 26-28, South Broadway

Founded in 2001, UMS is Denver's longest-running, largest music festival. Across three days, they put on 200+ performances across multiple outdoor stages and 12+ indoor venues.

It's the self-proclaimed best weekend in Denver, showcasing up-and-coming talent, tasty bites, vibrant bars, and an inclusive sober scene.
