Growing Up in South Tampa: Early Learning at Suncoast Academy
From infants to Pre-K, Suncoast Academy has been helping South Tampa families give their
children a nurturing place to learn, play, and grow since 1977.

Rooted in South Tampa
Suncoast Academy is a family-owned early learning center located at 4207 W San Miguel St in
South Tampa. Since 1977, we have been part of the neighborhood, welcoming generations of
local families through our doors. Our extended hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., are designed
to fit the schedules of busy working parents across the area.
Programs for Every Stage
Infants: During a baby's first year, consistency and nurturing relationships matter most. Our
infant care gives little ones a warm, attentive environment where they can explore safely and
reach their earliest milestones.
Toddlers: Toddlers are eager to discover the world around them. Through play, movement, and
social interaction, our toddler program helps children build independence and express
themselves with confidence.
Preschool: Preschool is where communication, creativity, and problem-solving take off.
Hands-on activities and time with peers help children build the foundation for their next steps in
learning.
VPK and Pre-K: As children approach kindergarten, our Pre-K and Florida VPK programs help
them strengthen foundational skills, practice classroom routines, and grow confident as
learners. Suncoast Academy earned an "Excellent" VPK rating for the 2025-26 school year
and holds APPLE Accreditation, reflecting our commitment to quality early education.
Special Offers for South Tampa Families
4 Weeks Free for Ages 0-3: Enroll a child between 0 and age 3, and after 4 weeks of
attendance, your family receives 4 weeks of free tuition.
Parent Referral Program: Our families are our best ambassadors. When a current Suncoast
family refers a new student who stays for 4 weeks, the referring family receives 4 weeks of free
tuition.
Supporting Those Who Support Us: Nurses and healthcare workers, military members,
teachers, and first responders keep our community running, often on demanding schedules.
Suncoast Academy proudly offers these families a 10% tuition discount, and our 6:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m. hours are built to support early shifts and long days.
