North Kansas City has a new neighbor this year, one that knows how to cook. Scimeca's Italian Sausage has been a Kansas City staple since 1935, and now president Toni Bonadonna is taking their home recipes nationwide with online ordering. Scimeca's Online Market and Deli has made its home at 1611 Swift since July of this year. There, you can shop their selection of sausages, meatballs, cheese, pasta, sauces, and more, and pick up dinner or a sandwich for the family. Bonadonna was kind enough to share the Scimeca's recipe for a classic Sunday dinner--sausage and peppers. Add a Caprese salad and some crusty Italian bread for an authentic Italian treat.
