Gainesville is at its best when neighbors show up for neighbors. Sunshine Services is a local business—we keep homes comfortable. The real giving-back happens at places like Ronald McDonald House Gainesville, and we’re glad to shine a light on their work. We’re grateful for the chance to serve this city as owners and neighbors, and we take that responsibility seriously. We love calling Gainesville home.
We acquired the company in 2024 and rebranded Sunshine Plumbing & Gas to Sunshine Services. Since then, we’ve expanded thoughtfully—adding HVAC and electrical alongside plumbing—and investing in training, safety, and practical technology so every visit is clean, clearly communicated, and done right the first time. Our focus is Gainesville: serving families and small businesses with steady, accountable work and owners you can actually reach.
Home is where life happens. When a system fails, comfort isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s essential. That’s why we sweat the details you can feel but rarely see: right sized solutions, code compliant installs, honest diagnostics, tidy job sites, and technicians who respect your home.
Our general manager, Rob Wixom, remembers the support his family received from Ronald McDonald House Charities in Indianapolis during a medical emergency. “They kept us together when everything felt upside down,” Rob says. “I’m forever grateful—and I try to bring that steadiness into how we serve families here in Gainesville.” That perspective is one reason we’re proud to spotlight the Gainesville Ronald McDonald House in this “Thankful, Grateful & Giving Back” issue—and to spend Monday evening there serving dinner to families.
We hire for character and train for excellence. We set clear standards and invest in practical training—ride-alongs, checklists, code compliance—and a safety-first mindset. The result we aim for is simple: a service experience that’s easy during the call and solid long after we leave.
Thank you for trusting Sunshine Services in your homes. We’ll keep earning that trust—neighbor to neighbor—by showing up on time, communicating clearly, and doing the work the right way.
We acquired Sunshine Services to serve people first, when neighbors need us, we show up with skill, heart, and gratitude.
