Central Bar + Restaurant
When you enter Central, you know it’s a safe, local place for food, fun and cocktails. It’s where you’ve celebrated life, friendship and family moments through food and drink. When COVID-19 had other restaurants closing, the Brazens quickly transformed their restaurant and created a state-of-the-art online ordering platform with incredible takeout options.
They also kept their community together by creating Virtual Zoom Happy Hours to connect their regulars and Zoom Catch-ups to keep their staff connected. They’ve partnered with Bellevue Chamber, Bellevue Breakfast Rotary and several prominent local doctors to donate over 800 meals to local hospitals. They also partnered with Kemper Development to donate two meals for each takeout order to Bellevue Lifespring to feed hungry children who are out of school.
A true community pillar, the Central team is doing what they can to give neighbors a sense of community during this time. To partner with them to donate a meal/s to those in need, give them a shout.
Jujubeet Café
A note from the owner
It is well into the evening and I am doing a regular inspection round, visiting our three Jujubeet stores and our brand-new production facility. Are the freezers still running properly? Any issues with the plumbing? My heart is sad as I look at these beautiful spaces that used to be humming with activity, cranking out only the healthiest food and beverage.
After a severe drop in revenue following the necessary COVID-19 regulations, I had to close Jujubeet entirely and furlough all my employees. I have an amazing team of some 35 people that formed the heart of this company that was founded to make healthy waves in our community.
Yet, I am hopeful and optimistic. Hopeful that we will be able to re-assemble our team and re-open Jujubeet – and optimistic that our awesome customers will return in force to give us the support we need to bring Jujubeet back to life and once again make healthy waves.
The Lakehouse
A note from Chef Jason Wilson
Since we opened, the focus of The Lakehouse has always been about the community and area we call home and we feel it's important to respond to the people of Bellevue during their "new normal.” We are offering a takeout menu built around comfort food, wine and cocktail kits, as well as staples and pantry items, including our signature granola.
We will continue offering our takeout menu through the re-opening, so guests can still enjoy The Lakehouse style farm fresh comfort food while maintaining safe social distancing.

Also, make sure to not miss their #MatthewsAtHome social campaign. The Matthews team looks forward to the day they can share a glass with you again in person at their Woodinville Tasting Room + Farm.

Gilbert’s on Main
Gilbert’s on Main has been serving the community in Old Bellevue gourmet sandwiches and food for more than 25 years. A delicatessen is more a social institution than it is a restaurant. Gilbert’s is warm and convivial with a strong sense of place.
