1. Austin Eastciders Collaboratory: 979 Springdale Rd Ste. 130, Austin, TX 78702
Austin Eastciders Barton Springs Cideria: 1530 Barton Springs Road
@Eastciders
Brittnay Perlo is the Master Cider Maker behind the Austin, Texas based craft-cidery helping move the mainstream toward cider that’s lower in sugar with more complex flavor profiles. After receiving her Masters in Alternative Energy at University of Rochester, Brittnay combined her background as a chemist with her interest in fermentation, craft breweries and cideries to land her dream job at Austin Eastciders.
Lucky for us, Brittnay uses her knowledge to create the highest quality ciders with flavors perfect for every season. From her personal favorite spiced cider, to core offerings like Blood Orange, Pineapple, and Texas Honey – these creations are perfect for any occasion and certifiably delicious. When sourcing ingredients and creating cider profiles, Brittnay actually creates five variations of the cider to ensure the final product is the best it can be. It doesn’t come as a shock, then, that new product development is her favorite part of the job: comes from being in the lab, playing around with flavors, and creating a flavor that consumers love!
