Nick Wills doesn’t just practice personal injury law—he plays it like a ballgame; strategizing, adapting, and never backing down. As the owner of The NMW Law Firm, Nick brings the same discipline, resilience, and teamwork that defined his years on the baseball diamond into every case he handles. Baseball was once his world—from backyard swings at age four to competing on some of the sport’s biggest amateur stages. Now, law is his calling, and the lessons he learned on the field continue to shape how he advocates for his clients.
Nick's journey into law was fueled by a desire to make a difference. After working at several firms, he realized he needed to take control to serve clients the way he believed was right. Tired of red tape and limited decision-making power, he stepped up to the plate and launched The NMW Law Firm —built on the same relentless drive and discipline that once fueled his game on the diamond.
What sets Nick apart is his unwavering commitment to doing his absolute best. “I have a fear of not doing my best to help someone else,” he admits. “If I leave a situation where I felt like I could have done more, I would feel immense guilt.” That tenacity isn’t just talk—it’s the same mindset that propelled him to excel in baseball, practicing harder than anyone else, refining his skills long after official practices ended. When he worked harder at hitting than anyone else on his teams, it showed, and he applied the same principle to his law firm: work harder, strive for excellence, and never settle for anything less than the best outcome for his clients.
From winning a national title with his Little League team at 12 to securing second place in the Division III College World Series with Emory University, Nick has seen the highs and lows of competition. He understands that even the best hitters fail more than they succeed—and that resilience matters most. ‘Baseball keeps you humble,’ he says,’ but it also instills the value of hard work. The same principles apply at my firm.”
Beyond resilience, baseball also taught him the importance of mental strength, being prepared, anticipating the next move, and making decisions under pressure. In personal injury law, mental sharpness is just as crucial. Strategy plays a role, and Nick ensures that every case is handled with a thoughtful, tactical approach with the goals of clients' health and compensation. Just like understanding plays on the field, Nick creates a playbook for clients seeking legal help for a personal injury case: intake, treat, demand, negotiate, litigation, and settlement.
At the core of The NMW Law Firm are four guiding values: humility, excellence, common sense, and attentiveness, which Nick has honed both on the baseball field and in his legal career, with plans for growth helping more clients. Whether he’s swinging for a base hit or swinging for justice in the courtroom, one thing is clear—Nick Wills plays to win, and his clients always have a champion in their corner.
"Baseball taught me resilience, preparation, and hard work—the same principles I bring to every case and every client."
