Pasquale’s is back in business in north Cullman, and General Manager Taylor Buckley shares some words about what he's thankful for this season - and a fun recipe!

"My family and I are thankful for the incredible reception we’ve received from the local community in getting the Pasquale’s name refreshed! I am also personally thankful for such an amazing staff that has eased the transition from moving from Orange Beach, Alabama.

"We at Pasquale’s love to support local charities, schools and community outreach programs as much as we are able!

"We are looking forward to curating special pizzas and cocktails that go hand in hand with the special celebrations coming up in the near future. The owners and I are especially looking forward to decorating the restaurant for the holiday season!"

Talking Turkey cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Wild Turkey 101 Rye
  • 1.5 oz. honey simple syrup
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • .25 oz. soda water
  • 4-inch rosemary sprig

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine Wild Turkey 101 Rye, honey simple syrup and fresh lemon juice. 
  2. Fill shaker 3/4 full of ice, cover and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is thoroughly frosted. 
  3. Place large ice cube or sphere in a double rocks glass, strain cocktail over and top with soda water.
  4. Garnish with rosemary sprig and enjoy!

Honey simple syrup ingredients

  • 1 oz. hot water
  • .5 oz. orange blossom honey

Honey simple syrup directions

  1. Mix hot water and honey in heat-proof container.
  2. Stir until honey is completely dissolved.
  3. Place in refrigerator and allow to chill for at least 1 hour.
