Local Nutrition Company Leading the Way in Fueling Our Town

Having officially opened on October 24 of this year, The Drip Nutrition hit the ground running! Located in central Dripping, off Hwy 290, next to Get Along Grill. Our goal is to be a source of health and wellness in this growing town. All while keeping the small-town, community feel inside our doors as well.

The Dripping Springs community has been incredibly welcoming. We enjoy meeting all the teachers, trainers and all the adorable kids that have come by so far! We have even already helped 4 people lose at least 5lbs!

The Drip Nutrition Protein Waffles

4 scoops of high-quality plant-based protein (Drip Nutrition uses 2 scoops of the baked goods flavor and 2 scoops of the banana caramel flavor)

2 tbsp flour, preferably whole wheat

1/4 tsp baking powder

1 egg

Sprinkle of cinnamon

5 to 6 oz of warm water

1 tsp canola oil

Optional: 2 tbsp sugar-free waffle mix (Maple Grove Farms available at H-E-B)

Spray surfaces of waffle iron with pan spray or wipe lightly with canola oil. Turn griddle on and allow to preheat.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In another bowl, beat egg with warm water and canola oil until well combined. Pour over dry ingredients and stir until dry ingredients are moistened. (If the batter is too thick, add more warm water). When the waffle iron is ready, pour in batter and cook until golden brown or according to waffle iron instructions.

Makes 2 4-inch square waffles.
