You may recognize Willy Tuz from a variety of places. Our past articles, his ads, at local events, and especially his television appearances. This last month Willy was back at it on the Food Network for the second time competing against 8 other teams for a chance to win the 12th season of Halloween Wars.
Willy reports that this was an amazing experience. At first, he was worried because he (and all the other competitors) get assigned a team and they have to get right to work with strangers. But by the end of the experience, his team had become family to him. He appreciated how they worked together and really pushed themselves to do their best work. "It is also a challenge to convince the judges that we have included all the criteria for each stage," Willy said. He also said that he enjoys doing these shows and hopes to continue doing them and even have his own show someday.
Even though he enjoys appearing on the Food Network, Willy's passion is centered around two things, seeing the smile his work brings to his customers, and helping people find joy in art. Willy can be found all over our valley doing those very things in so many different ways, and we are lucky to have him in our community.
