Tequila Mockingbird

Joey Jones, owner of Heights Draft Room, shares a cocktail recipe fit for the season

While the name Heights Draft Room makes one think of beer, there is also an extensive list of cocktails, liquor, cider, wine, and more at their La Vista City Centre location. Local owner, Joey Jones shares, “We do seasonal cocktails about every three months and are always doing rifts on things that are approachable and attainable for anyone.”

For the Tequila Mockingbird, Jones explains, “We wanted something more spring-forth so that's why you've got the Peach Combier in there, which is a peach liquor. You've got fresh lemon juice, and the lavender simple syrup adds an element of freshness to the cocktail without weighing it down.”
