The Yurtopian

The Yurtopian offers real yurts made of hand-stripped Siberian pine wood and camel hide to hold the lattice together. You can choose from two sites – Wimberley or Dripping Springs – each offering beautiful views and remote hideaways for maximum privacy

Rest, relax and rejuvenate in a cozy climate-controlled yurt featuring a king-size bed, luxurious bathroom with plush linens and towels. Grab a glass of wine and take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful hill country. Each yurt comes fully equipped with outdoor kitchen, refrigerator, private hot tub, fire pit, TV and Wi-Fi. All yurts are adults only and can accommodate 1-2 persons.

Founded in March 2019, The Yurtopian was designed and created the by dynamic husband-wife duo, Ann-Tyler & Brian Konradi. After being world travelers for over 20 years and having lived in various regions of the world, the Konradis settled in Wimberley. They have three daughters and a small, black Maltipoo, who is lovingly said to fill the role of Head of Ranch Security.

The Wimberley location, nestled among twenty-six acres of cedar and oak trees, boasts six remote yurts and three river bluff yurts for those who want access to the Blanco River. You can also book a massage for one or two at the Spa Yurt on the property. Located 10 minutes from town, you will be close to shops, restaurants, bars, and a bustling nightlife and live music. You will also be close to Jacob’s Well and the Blue Hole.

Dripping Springs is more remote and designed to be a hideaway in the woods. All yurts have river-front access to a beautiful swimming hole complete with canoes and SUP. It is recommended that you get provisions prior to arrival but you can still get to restaurants and stores in 30 minutes. The area has tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues.
