They sunset their acclaimed food truck where barbecue fans had been cueing up for hours since 2017, but LeRoy & Lewis’s first brick-and-mortar is thriving in South Austin. Helmed by Evan and Lindsey LeRoy and Sawyer and Nathan Lewis, the concept builds on the foundation that its food truck created with additional space for beer and wine, packaged barbecue goods, merch and more.
Staying true to pitmaster/co-owner/Chef Evan’s dedication to responsible sourcing from Texas ranches, the restaurant continues to focus on butchery and whole animal utilization. He says, “The menu aims to push the boundaries of barbecue as a method, introducing old-school cuts like chuck steak and flatiron in new-school ways.” The expanded menu includes starters & sharables, handhelds as well as additional sides and desserts.
