Thanksgiving dinners aren't complete without special recipes shared with family or friends. Here are two easy recipes you can whip up to add some sparkle and kick to your event, shared and prepared by Ashlea Chance of Baileyton's Mavens & Makers.

Apple Cider Mimosa

In a champagne flute, combine 2 parts apple cider to 1 part sparkling dry white wine or champagne. Garnish with frozen cranberries for a festive touch. 

Cheesy Jalapeno Corn

Ingredients

  • 3 (11 oz.) cans white shoepeg corn, drained
  • 3 tbsp. chopped, pickled jalapenos, plus more for topping
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine milk and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add in corn and jalapenos.
  4. Transfer to a buttered baking dish, top with shredded cheese and additional jalapenos.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown. 
  • Add some sparkle to your menu with an Apple Cider Mimosa.
