Thanksgiving Leftovers Reinvented

Creative Cuisine for Post-Feast Delights

Every year we look forward to the Thanksgiving spread from stuffing to cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, turkey and more. If you too love the meal, but are ready for some variety in your leftovers, then check out these easy to make creations.

Shepherd’s Pie

In a pie-pan, start layering your leftovers. Mix turkey and gravy as the first layer. Next, layer your veggies, such as corn and green beans, followed by mashed potatoes or your leftover sweet potato casserole. Bake your pie at 375 degrees until heated through and brown on top.

Turkey Paninis with Cranberry and Brie

Start with your leftover bread (sourdough is a personal favorite). Spread one side lightly with butter. With the other slice, spread one side with leftover cranberry sauce. Next, layer turkey slices and top with sliced brie. Not a fan of brie? Sub it for avocado.

Put your buttered slice on top, heat a skillet to medium heat, put buttered side down, butter the top side, and then flip when browned.
