Make Gift Giving a Creative Adventure This Season

It has been said that when it comes to gifting, it’s the thought that counts. Why not put some thought into the presentation of the gift as well?

Beautifully wrapped presents underneath the tree add character, whimsy and can become decorations on their own.  This holiday season, make gift wrapping less of a chore and more of an art project with these creative ideas. The process will turn gift-giving into a whole new creative adventure.

Creative Holiday Gift Wrap

Pine cones

Cinnamon sticks

Wrap presents in simple plain brown kraft paper, which can be bought in large rolls on Amazon or any craft store.  Be sure to use double-sided tape so that the tape isn’t visible.

Top it

Place twine around gifts and tie a simple bow. Slide stems under bow or affix with hot glue. Add a pine cone or cinnamon stick for a woodsy touch. Or add an ornament for the gift recipient to hang on his or her tree.

Make it beary cute

Cut ears out of brown paper. Cut one large round circle for the face and two smaller circles out of white paper to go over the ears. Cut two small round circles out of red paper for the cheeks. Use a glue stick to assemble. Draw the eyes, nose and mouth. And tie a ribbon around the center of the present.
