Netflix's "Buying Beverly Hills" reality TV show made its debut in November. To celebrate, Nurit Coombe and Alex Martinez, managing partners of The Agency DC, invited friends and colleagues for a pre-screening.
Music was pumping and drinks were flowing as the hosts discussed the ways in which the show is not a typical reality program. The new real estate 'occu-soap' follows the agents and clients within Mauricio Umansky's The Agency, highlighting the high-stakes world of luxury real estate.
"Not everyone is cut out for this business," says Coombe, "you must have a unique set of skills and personality." The show takes viewers behind the scenes of the successful real estate firm, revealing how the agents work to elevate their selling skills.
"It shows you what sets us apart from other real estate brokerages out there," Alex Martinez adds.
The premiere was received well from guests, many of which spoke about clearing their weekend schedules to binge the series. "It's my new reality show obsession!" claimed Josie Bulitt. "I love seeing how they learn to be successful– it can be applied to any industry really, not just real estate. Plus, I love the drama!".
The Agency DC office, led by Coombe and Martinez, offers clients Mauricio Umansky's brand of real estate, which focuses on innovation, collaboration, creative marketing, and cutting-edge technology to elevate the experience for buyers and sellers across the region.
