Nathan Halonen didn’t just step into construction; he grew with it. From early days as a laborer and equipment operator to leading multimillion-dollar residential and commercial projects, his path was built on hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a deep passion for craftsmanship. After earning a degree in Construction Management, he founded Halcon Built with a clear philosophy: build it once, and make it beautiful.
One recent project was especially rewarding. A couple had spent over a decade living in a dark, hillside home while dreaming of something new. Halcon Built brought that dream to life by constructing a spacious, sun-filled home just across the yard. After move-in, the original house was demolished, closing one chapter and opening another. The homeowners added a personal touch by welding their own custom railings for both the deck and interior stairs, making the space uniquely theirs and full of character and pride.
This project came with its share of challenges. Structural framing initially clashed with the architectural vision, limiting window sizes and affecting the natural light design. Instead of compromising, Halcon Built worked closely with engineers to revise the plans using stronger, slimmer materials. The result was a brighter, more efficient home with no delays in construction and complete satisfaction from the clients.
