If you've never experienced the thrill of a kayak ride during the golden hour at Lake Travis, let me tell you, it's something you won't want to miss. For those in need of a change of scenery and some of the most impressive views of Lake Travis, I highly recommend taking Highway 71 towards Spicewood. Just before you reach the Pedernales River, a turn down Pace Bend Road will lead you straight to the heart of Pace Bend Park.
