Balance has been restored to the Springs! Why? Because Ivywild School has reopened, and just in time for sunny patio weather. It’s also got some impressive upgrades.
Ivywild went into hibernation last fall to regroup and strategize. The wait has been well worth it, though, as the grand reopening features exciting new food offerings like Detroit style pizza and a building-wide liquor license.
I paid a visit to Ivywild’s unique watering hole, The Principal’s Office, where Consulting Bartender Erika Mullet was kind enough to mix us a wonderfully refreshing spring cocktail:
The English Lit
- 1.5 oz Spring 44 Honey Vodka
- .75 oz Cocchi Americano
- .5 oz Lavender Syrup
- 2 dashes Vanilla
- 2 dashes Orange Flower Water
Stir all with ice and strain into a chilled snifter. Top w/ sparkling wine. Garnish lemon twist.
