The Future of Family Travel Is Here!

2023 BMW iX M60

All-electric vehicles are gaining popularity as gas prices soar for their fuel economy, sustainability and increasing ease of charging from home. Prestigious automaker BMW embraces all of these benefits and takes it to the next level with the implementation of power, luxury, and technology with the all-new 2023 iX M60. Classified as an all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle, this five-seater is one of BMW’s most anticipated additions to its renowned iX lineage and it surely does not disappoint. The M60 is mind blowing.

Perhaps the biggest draw is on the performance side. BMW maintains the M Series’ stellar reputation for racing prowess based on speed, power, and engineering with the iX M60’s two all-electric motors delivering a performance peaking at an astounding 610 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. These results lead to a mere 3.6 seconds to get drivers to 60 miles per hour and a top speed of 155 mph. The adaptive 2-axle air suspension and multi-functional hexagonal steering wheel further augment the exotic sports-car feel that devotees demanding the need for speed will appreciate. Even with all this power, the iX M60 peaks at a respectable 274 miles on a full charge to ease the mind, especially on family excursions.

The driver and co-pilot will all enjoy the “Live Cockpit” based on BMW’s high-tech Operating System 8, along with their signature Natural Interaction, where hands and voice conduct the BMW Curved Display featuring a 12.3-inch info display and a 14.9-inch control display. Everything from the Radiant Heating Package to the theateresque Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System is adjusted with ease. The passengers—especially the kids—will love stargazing through the Panoramic Eclipsing Sky Lounge Roof, which can change from a clear view of the sky to opaque, to completely shading the beaming sun at the press of a button.

“I am very excited about the BMW iX M60 entering the market,” Sousa says. “More and more customers are excited about owning electric cars and this car has the best of three worlds: speed, comfort, and practicality. BMW’s all-encompassing approach to sustainability vehicles will definitely have a positive future,” says Victor Sousa, the general manager of the Alpharetta-based United BMW. “It’s not just building an electric car, but also using recycled materials to build them that will steer BMW forward in the automotive industry for years to come.”
