“We can always find time to follow our dreams,” says Eric North. “But fear keeps us from making the time.”

Eric knows something about following dreams. Known as The Happiness Warrior, Eric is the founder and owner of the hormone-optimization and anti-aging clinic, Performance Rejuvenation Center in D.C., and co-founder of Stretchworkz which provides practitioner-assisted stretch therapy. His dream was to be a motivational speaker and now he has added that and a few more things to his resume, including writer and TV personality. More than a persona, Eric is truly a warrior of happiness and he wants everyone to live that life.

“As a motivational speaker I help people discover their inner-warrior and create the happy life they deserve,” he says.

One element of Eric’s message, which he shares on Instagram @thehappinesswarrior1, is to help people look at aging differently. “I want to help people get older and feel good about it,” he says.

With stories about him in major national magazines and an upcoming appearance on the Today Show (and other programs), The Happiness Warrior will be spreading his inspiration even more widely. His book, The Happiness Warrior: Daily Affirmations to Raise You Up is in the works.

Eric stresses the importance of starting each morning with a healthy routine. Step one he says is affirmation. “This is going to be a great day. Say it out loud. It’s awesome and it works,” he says.

Next comes hydration. “It’s welcoming my body back to life. It wakes up my organs and then I’m ready for stretching, breathing exercises and light resistance movement,” he says, referring to the final step of the routine, activation.

Reflecting on the pandemic, Eric says, "The Happiness Warrior is what the world needs right now."
