The Holiday House Tour Returns

Begin Your Holiday Season With a Glimpse of Grandeur and History

The start of the holiday season will be even brighter this year with the Holiday House Tour returning to town! Tiger Hollow is partnering with the Ridgefield Historical Society to allow patrons of the tour to gain further appreciation of the past as they tour the curated lineup of historic homes.

There will be a preview party on the evening of December 1 at the Historic Tuttle-Smith House. Join guests for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and great company!

The Tour will be held on Saturday, December 2. These historic addresses each have their own unique story to tell. Co-Chair Jill Rae says "History is the theme! From the Preview party to check-in and finishing off with a cocktail, each location will have a piece of history to share."

Rae is thrilled to have the honor to co-chair this revered community tradition, stating, "I love this community. As a business owner here, I have made my focus dedicated to just that. Owning a design firm here goes hand and hand with home and decor. It was a perfect fit.

Stacy Schibi is also a co-chair. "I am honored to have the opportunity to bring this tour to the residents of Ridgefield this year," she says.

Stephen Barkus, Director of the Ridgefield Historical Society says, "When guests join the Ridgefield Holiday House Tour this year, they will be transported back in time to experience the rich history of Ridgefield. From colonial gems to Victorian marvels, guests will gain insights into the architectural evolution of Ridgefield, while also learning about the families who once called these houses home."

Karla Murtaugh, who has been one of the leading sponsors of the tour for years. says that "having the tour return with such a meaningful historic theme is simply fabulous. Attendees will have a transformative experience this year."
