When owner Janelle opened the door, the first thing that caught my eye was her glittering boots. We sat down to chat about brides, and that’s when I noticed the sparkle in her eyes, too. Nicknamed “Sparkles” by friends and family, Janelle drew inspiration from the nickname when naming her boutique and from the feeling she hopes every bride experiences on her wedding day.

After helping countless brides find their dream dress, Janelle recently celebrated a wedding of her own.
You might assume someone who spends every day surrounded by gowns would know exactly what she wanted. After all, she sees every trend, every silhouette, and every new shipment that arrives at the boutique. But her experience turned out to be surprisingly similar to that of many of her brides.
She spent time browsing the racks, considering different styles, and imagining how each dress might feel on her wedding day. In the end, the dress she chose wasn’t the most expensive, the trendiest, or the one she expected to fall in love with.
It was simply the one that felt the most like her. And, of course, it was the most sparkly dress imaginable!
That sentiment seemed to be at the heart of everything Janelle shared. While bridal fashion changes from season to season, confidence never goes out of style. The dresses may be beautiful, but the goal isn’t to transform into someone else. It’s to feel like the best version of yourself.
