When was the last time you were in a photo booth? I hope you have had a chance recently to experience the joy of being goofy with your friends and family, wearing a crazy hat and practicing your poses. Truly the best part about my photo booth company is getting to take fun, silly photos with my own family.
Owning The Peachy Keen Photo Camper has been one of the most exciting and challenging experiences of my life. I am so grateful for my family—from my husband Mark, who usually pulls the trailer and works with me, to my mom, kids, sister, mother-in-law, cousin, and friends—without which none of this would be possible. I am blessed to have so much support in my business.
When I purchased the Peachy Keen Photo Camper in 2022, I had been out of the events industry for many years. I was so happy to find a business that allowed me to be creative while using the skills I learned when completing my meeting and event planning degree. It took a couple of years, but it was such an accomplishment when I could leave my job and pursue my business full time.
Being in the Wedding Capital of Texas means we are in close proximity to amazing venues and event industry professionals. Additionally, with its supportive community of women entrepreneurs who always encourage me to keep pushing forward, Dripping Springs is an ideal location for my business. Women in this area truly care about each other as people. When I have a struggle or a milestone, I know there are many women here who have my back.
I have been able to grow the business by adding a selfie station option to our offerings, which allows us to be involved in many more celebrations. Now, when the camper won’t fit, we have an alternative. You may have seen us at the high school during theater productions or other school banquets. We want to be top of mind when it comes to photo booths.
It is a pleasure to help people make their visions come to life. Being a part of such special celebrations is an honor—we have helped celebrate milestones ranging from first birthdays to 80th! I love how people loosen up when they step inside the photo booth. When I see people laughing and having a good time with their grandparents, I always think about how they will treasure those moments in the future.
