At the beginning of this year, we celebrated 10 years of EKA Build. We invited our past and current clients, our team, and the people who have supported us along the way to celebrate with us.
That evening was filled with laughter, memories, hugs, and even a few tears. Standing in a room surrounded by people whose homes we had built or remodeled over the past decade, we were reminded of something we have felt for a long time: The greatest blessing of EKA Build has never been the homes. It has been the people we have built them for.
Every client comes to us with a story already in progress. They have a vision, a need, a dream, or sometimes even a difficult situation they are trying to work through. For a season, we are invited into that story. We get to listen, guide, solve problems, build, and work incredibly hard on their behalf. That trust is something we have never taken lightly.
Over the years, those stories have looked very different.
We have had a family call us after construction on their home had stopped and their builder was facing foreclosure. We stepped in, worked through existing structural concerns, helped them navigate difficult financial decisions, and ultimately finished the home they had been dreaming about.
Another client came to us after living for decades with comfort issues in his existing home. When he decided to build next door, he wanted to make sure his new home would be built differently. He visited the job site nearly every day during construction, and years later, he and his wife still tell us how much they love their home.
And one of the greatest compliments we can receive is when clients invite us back. One family we built a custom home for nearly a decade ago has since trusted us with three additional projects. We have been able to watch their home, and their family's needs grow over the years.
These are only a few of the 47 projects we have had the privilege of completing together.
As we reflect during this season of thankfulness, we are incredibly thankful for our clients! For your trust. Your encouragement. Your referrals. Your friendship. For continuing to support our family and our business long after we hand you the keys.
We are also deeply thankful for our team, our parents and families who have encouraged and prayed for us, and above all, for God's grace and faithfulness through every season.
Ten years later, we know this with even greater certainty: EKA Build would not have a story without the people who trusted us to become part of theirs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
