Honoring Purpose-Driven Women Who Inspire and Empower our Lakewood Ranch Community

In the thriving community of Lakewood Ranch, countless women have made a lasting impact through their leadership, compassion, and dedication. This month, we are proud to highlight women nominated for their extraordinary influence and contributions to the community.

At our upcoming women’s event, we will announce “The Woman of Influence,” celebrating four incredible women whose stories inspire us all to make a difference. Each one embodies the spirit of Lakewood Ranch through their achievements and commitment to empowering others.

Paige Hopkins is a powerhouse of passion, leadership, and impact. A devoted mom of four, Air Force wife, and owner of CycleBar Sarasota UTC, she has raised over $15,000 for Team Gleason in honor of her late father. Paige leads charity rides benefiting organizations such as The Twig, Kids by the Sea, breast cancer research, the American Cancer Society, and the MS Foundation. A former Title I teacher, she continues to uplift local schools, proving that fitness is a platform for change.

Emily Hovermale is the owner of Monkee’s boutique at Waterside Place in Lakewood Ranch. Originally from Lexington, KY, she moved to Florida in 2018 with her husband and three children. Emily curates stylish, high-quality fashion pieces for her boutique, helping women feel confident and beautiful. She is committed to supporting local recovery efforts and giving back to the community. Since opening Monkee’s in December 2022, Emily has supported local schools and charities through donations and active participation.

Tanya Tutcher, known as "Sarasota's Favorite Follow" on Instagram, is a local guide for food and adventures in Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Tanya promotes local businesses by sharing engaging videos on social media. She is also the founder of Influence PRX, a social media management company she established in 2015.

Sloane Bellante, owner of Squeeze Massage in Sarasota, brings a fresh approach to wellness in her community. She is passionate about supporting local women-owned businesses and fostering connections that empower others. As a wife, mom of two, and entrepreneur, Sloane understands the importance of balance and self-care, inspiring others to prioritize their well-being while leading by example in health and wellness.

Jenny Schenk created Pineapple Kitchen in 2020, a popular hospitality company providing award-winning children’s culinary programs, catering, and mystery dinner comedy shows. Born out of a desire to show hospitality, Pineapple Kitchen offers all-natural products to serve the community at events, ensuring guests feel welcomed.

Haley Haxton is the owner of Modish Salon and Mod, a company supplying hair extensions across the US and Canada. With over 12 years of experience, Haley emphasizes education and shares the latest techniques with stylists worldwide through her virtual platform. As a new mother managing multiple businesses, Haley’s advice is simple: “Keep your blinders on.” Focused and driven, she has created a supportive community for stylists, coaching them to thrive with a no-nonsense approach, kind heart, and business savvy.
