Ross knew the importance of his job as the ring bearer for his mom’s wedding. Hours before the wedding there he was holding, no guarding the box as if his life depended on it. It was his “growing up” moment because all of his cousins were running around just being kids, but he put himself in a zone.
Ross stood close to the groomsmen peppering with them questions: Where do I stand? Who do I hand the box to? Then, where do I go?
The moment came and he stood up like a little man and delivered the box with the ring in it and smiled knowing his mom’s tears were for happiness. Once he knew his job was done after the service he joined in the games with his cousins and went back to being a kid.
