Welcome to Pasticceria Italia, Southwick’s own Italian pastry and coffee shop! Upon entering, you feel the warmth of fresh baked goods and breathe in a whiff of delightful treats. I found myself having a hard time deciding which pastry to try since they all looked incredible, so I sampled a variety.
First was the Red Velvet Cake. The flavor took me by surprise as it was sweet like maple syrup. Then came the Lemon Cake. This one was my favorite as I am a sucker for anything lemon. The Chocolate Tiramisu slice was an overload of mocha and chocolate swirls that did a happy dance on my tongue. I loved every minute! Next was the Blueberry Cheesecake. It was a breath of fresh air; plain, yet rich in flavor, with the biggest blueberries on top. Last but not least was the authentic, famous Italian cookies. These cookies hold a special place in my heart as they were my grandmother's favorite.
Pastries, cookies, cannolis, coffee, soups, and stuffed breads; what more could you want? Pasticceria Italia has it all!
