How I wish Colorado's autumn lasted longer. Each year Mother Nature seems in a hurry to move from toasty summer days and offer her frosty gift of snow. You may best know fall has arrived by the traffic jams on popular leaf-peeping roadways. With all the frenzy, it seems the months of October and November whizz by without proper reverence; crunchy leaves underfoot, sun-warmed faces and breeze-blocking flannel, dried high desert sage and golden aspen glow. Lone Tree's Steve Sorensen's photos remind us to breathe in the majesty of our state and get lost in its splendor.
