The Sweetest Annual Event

Professional and amateur bakers competed for a good cause at The Kindness Campaign’s Kind Cookie Competition

A dozen and a half professional and amateur bakers lent their time and talents to bake up cookies for the hundreds of supporters and sweets connoisseurs who attended The Kindness Campaign’s Second Annual Kind Cookie Competition. After nail-biting deliberation, a judging panel including Austin cookie expert Alex Reichek, aka Checkmark Eats, and Fields Good Cookies co-founder Ashley Fields (daughter of OG cookie baker Ashley Fields) crowned Matok Bakery’s TK Cookie the winner. In the Amateur Baker category, Stacey Clark aka Midnight Cookie Club won with her Blueberry Bliss, which she accurately described as tasting like the top of a blueberry muffin. Rounding out the winners circle was Sweet Dey, who took home the People’s Choice prize with their Wedding Cookie!

Beyond the accolades, this delectable day raised awareness of the critical work behind TKC's efforts to bring emotional health tools and programs to schools, students, and educators nationwide.
