At Simply Kelleys Resort

Kelleys Island, a cherished destination on Lake Erie, is set to welcome a new culinary gem and updated vacation rentals this May  2025: The Villa Eatery and Bar at Simply Kelleys Resort will occupy the site of the former Kelleys Island Brewery, a beloved spot that closed its doors almost 3 years ago . Simply Kelley’s Resort offers rental units on the property and there is availability still for summer 2025 in the 1 bed units and the larger home that sleeps 13.    


Andrew Gorski, the celebrated chef behind Avon Lake's culinary gem, Edacious Kitchen and Bar, brings a wealth of experience and creativity to The Simply Kelleys Resort Restaurant, The Villa Eatery and Bar, having honed his skills in renowned NY Culinary School and vibrant food scenes across Las Vegas, Hawaii, and New Mexico. His diverse background has shaped a menu that emphasizes a fresh and innovative approach, steering clear of frozen, boxed foods in favor of high-quality ingredients like fresh fish and steak, all prepared with simple yet effective techniques. Gorski’s signature rotisserie chicken has become a standout dish thanks to the new addition of a Rotisserie in the kitchen.  Featuring seafood, smash burgers and unique island fare.  The Villa Eatery and Bar also boasts a full liquor license which allows for catering private parties and destination weddings.

The previous occupant, Kelleys Island Brewery, was renowned for its picturesque lakeside setting and diverse menu. The new group of owners have done extensive  remodeling to the restaurant and the cottages on the property .
