Devon Levesque and Jimmy DeCicco met in New York City in 2018. They were both young entrepreneurs building businesses in the fitness and wellness industry. “We both played sports in college and bonded over the challenges we faced as young, ambitious twenty-somethings without resources or experience,” Jimmy says, “Our shared ambition attracted us to invest in 60-acres in Texas hill country.”
Jimmy, who also owns Austin-based brand Super Coffee with his brothers says, “I built Cedar Trunk Ranch as a destination that we wanted to escape to with all the tools and games we could ever want—cold tubs, saunas, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, archery, fitness, red light therapy, IV drips, and so much more. We put all our favorite things in a place where we could run to when we wanted to unplug from the noise and find the freedom we used to feel as kids.”
Jimmy lives at the ranch on the weekends – along with six cows and two resident donkeys – and a few times each year they host WEEKends, 3-day and nights where there are physical challenges, speakers and entertainment. “We believe that fun is enhanced through effort,” Jimmy says. “At The WEEKend, people are challenged physically, mentally, and socially. You can test yourself in the ice bath; push yourself past quit; share your dreams, ideas and obstacles. The WEEKend will make you sweat, think, collaborate, compete—do the things you used to do as a kid.”
Devon is climbing Mt. Everest in April so the next WEEKend will be May 12-14 and will be focused on Founders and Executives. “It will be for fearless founders, deal-makers, market-movers and brand builders who are seeking to reignite their passion for their purpose,” Jimmy shares. “Guests will be immersed in group experiences designed to make them better leaders, teammates, and communicators—both at home and at work. It's about intentionally unplugging and finding the fun you used to feel as a kid.”
