74th Annual Gold Rush Days & Senior Pro Rodeo
February 10th through 12th | Wickenburg
The signature Gold Rush Days event spans 3 1/2 days and brings in tens of thousands of visitors. Produced by the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, it celebrates Wickenburg's origins as a ranching and gold-mining community.
- Thursday, February 9th through Sunday, February 12th: Carnival. Brown's Amusements Family Fun Carnival opens at 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the downtown district. Opens again at 10 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Friday, February 10: Opening Ceremonies and Classic Car Show. Opening ceremonies start at 10 a.m. on Frontier Street. Features western stuntman Will Roberts. Classic cars are on Frontier Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Friday, February 10th through Sunday, February 12th: Artisan Fair. Valentine Street in the historic district hosts 150 exhibitors at the Wickenburg Art Club Artisan Fair. Juried art show, family fun carnival, free stage entertainment, gold panning and more. Opens 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
- Saturday, February 11th: Gold Rush Days Parade. Parade starts at 10 a.m. and includes more than 100 horses. The theme is ack in Gold!
- Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th: Senior Pro Rodeo. The National Senior Pro Rodeo and Open Rough Stock features bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing, calf roping and more. Gates open at 11 a.m.
- Saturday, February 11th: Rodeo Dance. The public is invited to the Rodeo Dance sponsored by the Humane Society of Wickenburg. Wickenburg Community Center from 6 to 10 p.m. features the music of the Pat James Band and a full bar.
