The Woodlands 50th Anniversary Celebration Day of Giving Community Initiative on Tuesday, October 15, benefiting Interfaith of The Woodlands was a monumental success and a testament to the giving nature of our beautiful community. Interfaith reached their collection goal of 50,000 pounds of food (one and half tractor trailers full of food) in just one day!

Interfaith of The Woodlands hosted a reception and kickoff before the Day of Giving Food Drive Collection began and before volunteers started volunteering throughout The Woodlands. The reception included performances by the Interfaith Child Development Center.

Interfaith of The Woodlands has played a pivotal role in shaping The Woodlands into the community it is today. Founded in 1973, Interfaith of The Woodlands originated from the vision of George P. Mitchell, Founder of The Woodlands, who dreamed of ensuring every resident would find a spiritual home.
