The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA) proudly recognizes five outstanding Upper School students who have been named National Merit Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Honorees include Landon Ousley, Trace Tillman, Bryce Johnson, Elaina Formica, and Nicolette Naeher.
This recognition places these students among the top 3–4% of high school seniors nationwide. Of the more than 1.5 million juniors who entered the competition by taking the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT, approximately 34,000 earn Commended Student status. Their exceptional performance demonstrates strong academic potential and is a distinction that stands out in college admissions and scholarship consideration.
The National Merit Scholarship Program, established in 1955, is an academic competition designed to identify and honor the nation’s most capable students. Each year, the program awards recognition and scholarships to students based on their PSAT/NMSQT performance, academic record, and other achievements.
“We are extremely proud of our students for earning this prestigious recognition,” said Amy Rowe, Director of Academic and College Advising. “Their hard work, determination, and pursuit of excellence reflect the values of Woodlands Christian and serve as an inspiration to their peers.”
The Woodlands Christian Academy congratulates these scholars for their dedication to academics and looks forward to celebrating their continued success.
