When Gunjan Shah and her husband, Kinsuk, lived in New Jersey they loved taking their beloved dog Benji to Camp Bow Wow. The employees knew the Shahs by name and Benji would be so excited to spend the day playing with his four-legged friends. The entire experience was excellent.
Though both Gunjan and Kinsuk are in the pharma industry, they couldn’t deny their love for dogs, so they decided to open their own Camp Bow Wow location. Then life happened, the couple relocated to Weston, welcomed a baby, and - to our good fortune - opened Camp Bow Wow right here in Fairfield County.
“We loved the model for Camp Bow Wow,” says Gunjan, who explained that the pups in their care get the best all-day recess us humans can imagine. They play in an indoor/outdoor space to their heart’s content, are served meals in a private cabin (never a crate), then a little R&R time. A schedule, I think, we could all get behind. Camp Bow Wow also offers training, bathing, and grooming for their campers.
There are several cameras throughout so pet parents can easily check in on their canine besties. Viewing these sweet pups is as easy as can be with a simple click from the location’s website or mobile app - no signing up and trying to remember a password.
For anyone who’s starting to spend more time at an office, in need of boarding, or just wants to treat their dog to a day of fun, Camp Bow Wow will take good care of them and send them home exhausted.
