Featured on this year’s Roswell Women’s Tour of Homes, this newly constructed residence near downtown Roswell is a masterclass in intentional living, timeless design, and inspired collaboration. Completed in 2025, the 7,450-square-foot custom home offers a rare blend of architectural sophistication and everyday warmth—designed to support vibrant entertaining and long-term livability.

For the homeowners, the journey began with one clear priority: location. Downtown Roswell was non-negotiable. Drawn to its walkability, historic charm, and strong sense of community, they envisioned a home that felt connected to the heart of the city while still serving as a private retreat. “We wanted to live somewhere with history and character,” they share, “but also create a space that felt personal and restorative.”

Built from the ground up, the six-bedroom, seven-bath home—including a dedicated office suite and private mother-in-law quarters—was brought to life through a highly collaborative process. The homeowners partnered with Lehigh Homes & Development, architect Bold SMAC Designs, and Sara Morris and her team at Morris Design Co. Together, they created a home rooted in how the family truly lives, works, and gathers. “Every decision was intentional,” the homeowners explain. “This was a partnership built on listening, trust, and shared creativity.”

The home’s aesthetic is best described as warm modern with a strong sense of place. Traditional architectural elements anchor the design, while modern lines and bold features keep it feeling current and timeless. Travel played a significant role in shaping the vision, with subtle European influences woven throughout—from a Norway-inspired slate roof to architectural details inspired by destinations visited over the years. Each element tells a story, adding depth and meaning to the design.

Natural light was a must-have, and it defines the home’s atmosphere. Expansive window walls, larger-than-life sliders, and thoughtful sightlines flood the interiors with sunlight and create seamless transitions to the outdoors. One of the home’s most striking features—the dramatic staircase and window wall—required complex structural engineering, but the payoff is a showstopping focal point that still feels effortless.

Functionality was never an afterthought. The home was designed with long-term living in mind, incorporating features that quietly enhance daily life. A private office with its own entrance supports a modern work-from-home lifestyle, while an elevator running from the basement to the attic adds both convenience and future-ready accessibility. “We didn’t realize how much we’d appreciate it until everyday life set in,” they note. “It’s those details that truly elevate the experience.”

The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, effortlessly accommodating both quiet mornings and large gatherings. Designed for entertaining, it flows directly into the outdoor living spaces—an intentional choice that allows hosting to feel natural and unforced. “This home was made to gather people,” the homeowners say. “When we entertain, the house just moves with the energy.”

Outdoors, the property transforms into a resort-like escape. A pool, covered porch, patios, and courtyard function as true extensions of the living space, designed for year-round enjoyment. Thoughtful landscaping and layered lighting complement the architecture, ensuring the exterior feels as intentional as the interior.

As part of the Roswell Women’s Tour of Homes, this residence reflects not only beautiful design but also a deep connection to community. It honors Roswell’s historic roots while embracing modern living—demonstrating how elegance, functionality, and place can coexist seamlessly.

When asked to describe life in the home in three words, the answer is immediate: Inspired. Intentional. Inviting. It’s a home that welcomes, supports, and evolves—an ideal showcase for a tour that celebrates both exceptional homes and the women behind them.

This home is proudly featured in the Roswell Women’s Tour of Homes, an annual event celebrating exceptional residences, inspired design, and the women who shape our community.
