Upon arrival at this impressive Timnath estate with panoramic views of Timnath Reservoir and the Rockies, your attention is drawn to the multitude of remarkable features. From the stunning water feature in the front garden to the infinity glass garage doors and under-lit concrete steps that lead up to the custom metal slab door, each detail is a feast for the eyes.

As you make your way into the entry you’re greeted by a nearly 37-foot ceiling in the living room. The Douglas Fir beams stretch all the way up and across the ceiling for an impressive cathedral feel. The 75-year-old barn wood floors with a clear metallic finish, mainly sourced from Wisconsin, stretch the length of the living room and kitchen making the space warm and inviting to the spacious living area.

Designer and homeowner, Ashley Underwood, had influence in every corner of this five-bedroom, seven-bath house. From custom artwork that adorns the walls to the custom furniture and light fixtures, they all have what she calls her ‘Mountain Rocker’ style. The dark tones complement the details in texture and metallic highlights. The partnership between wood accents and the use of multi-stone work makes the Mountain Modern home feel original and warm. Every aspect was meticulously calculated and well-thought-out so that this trendy home would remain timeless.

Giant custom Hammerton Studio light fixtures with blown glass hang from a custom Vahallan hand-painted wallpapered ceiling, making a unique and exquisite focal point to the large space. A nine-foot sink, Cambria matte black quartz countertops, custom William OHS cabinets, and La Cantina sliding door and kitchen windows, that have extra UV protection, are a few of the highlights in this elegant space. The real showstopper is the honed stone Copacabana reverse waterfall island that gives a matte look and a velvet feel.

The powder room off the kitchen features Porcelanosa stone and slate floor-to-ceiling walls. The beautifully textured and thin stone brings the mountain vibe to the forefront and is paired with a giant back-lit circular mirror that makes the space edgy and modern. The stone walls make appearances throughout the house along with a floating toilet in every bathroom.

Long-time friends, Andrea Tuell and Kelly McBartlett, who both independently focus on high-end homes, came together to co-list this stunning house that sits on 1.36 acres. The impressive team is taking on this gorgeous estate and working closely with the Underwood family to bring this house to its full potential. Both Andrea and Kelly are well-respected real estate agents in Northern Colorado and are the perfect duo to take on such an elegantly striking estate.

The bold and masculine style of this house is consistent and stately. Every room flows in theme while bringing something new to the table. Whether it be a different version of a Hammerton Studio light fixture or a different color of the stone walls, this house is styled to enhance accent pieces and highlights the true mountain modern feel it’s after.

The wood, metal, and stone accents continue in the master bedroom. A wooden beam mantle with accented metal bolts contrasts to give the space its modern style without compromising the warmth in the room. A custom Hubbardton light fixture with blown glass gives the room a robust modern and edgy feel that demands attention and allows your eye to travel to every on-theme detail Ashley included in this space. The master bath is softened by the inclusion of a Sophstone bathtub, counters, and sinks, plenty of sunlight, and a custom built-in hutch with copper mesh doors. The rose copper hardware, faucets, towel racks, and shower head add a nice shine and slight delicate touch to this darker-toned room.

As you make your way upstairs you encounter the Hammerton Studio light fixture that hangs from the ceiling down the three flights of stairs. The underlit Douglas Fir floating staircase wraps around this statement piece while also providing originality to the space. The blown glass upholds the modern elements while the black metal ties in with the black aviation cable railing. The multilevel light fixture acts as an art piece with its magnificent size and grand appearance that carries out through every level of this house.

While the upstairs acts as the kid's area, Ashley continued the sleek elements while creating a space equipped for youthful energy and expression. Her same mountain, rocker, and slightly masculine style is shown through the granite countertops, barn doors made from Wyoming snow fence and patina metal, petrified wood sinks, and a variety of stone and tile work in the bathrooms. An oxidized Venetian plaster wall with art lighting is highlighted in the upstairs hallway. This rust-colored wall brings character and provides an upscale feature to a transitional space in the house.

The basement of this house does not fall short compared to the upper levels. An earth-cooled wine cellar, home gym, an entertainment area with a projection theater, gun and safe room, full bar, and swing chairs all follow the same modern, edgy theme while demonstrating their own uniqueness to the living space. The wine cellar holds 2400 bottles and is detailed with sumptuous lighting and a six-color epoxy floor. The custom built-in walnut slab with a copper metallic acrylic inlay elevates the room and gives it that rocker touch.

The living area and theater are everything you would need in an entertainment space. The wood-slotted ceiling with lighting elongates the room and provides a modern contemporary feel. The cool tones and textured accents in these spaces bounce the eye from one thing to the next. The four swinging chairs add a playful element and the theater is classy and comfortable. The full bar adds a pop of copper color without taking away from the other shared spaces. With a beverage fridge, kegerator, and dishwasher, it is well-equipped to provide the perfect entertainment area. This basement is truly meant for the family and provides a little something for everyone.

The guest suite in the basement is roomy and comfortable. This suite provides perfect elements to make any guest feel right at home with a mini kitchenette with a fridge, coffee maker, and sink, a full bathroom with a free-standing tub that fills from the ceiling, and a washer and dryer. The room has a custom Hubbardton light fixture and a leather wallpapered accent wall that brings Ashley’s style into this space.

The outside of the home features custom Hearth House fireplaces on the back deck and patio, a ventilated smoker, an outdoor kitchen with soapstone counters, and black aviation cable railings that tie in the stylish and sleek touches from inside the house. The heated, oversized five-car garage has a six-color epoxy floor finish that provides a pop of color and originality to this otherwise mundane area of a house. Just inside is the mud room with sealed limestone floors and a washroom for man’s best friend. Custom cabinets for storage and a spacious butler's pantry around the corner offer a variety of practical-use spaces for families and their furry friends.

This spacious 8500 square foot house somehow still feels lived in and homey. Ashley didn’t hold back when creating this stylish mountain modern masterpiece and left no stone unturned. Every inch of this house, from the can light placements to the statement art pieces around the home, was curated to carry out this tastefully masculine style to every room. Although time and incredible amounts of effort from Ashley and the real estate team, Andrea and Kelly, were put into this estate, this monumental mountain modern may just sell itself.
