A just-launched auto styling center opened for West Chester and Philadelphia metropolitan residents at 674 Baltimore Pike, Suite 2, in Springfield. Brad Lloyd, Tint World franchise owner, says his professional team services automotives, boats, UTVs and other recreational vehicles. Prior to opening the retail center, they've been servicing on-site residential and commercial window tinting customers.
"We can provide film that's clear to 7% visible light transmission that blocks 99% of UV rays and 85% heat," he shares. "We also have enhanced security films for buildings such as businesses, churches, historic sites or retail locations."
He says he's been delighting in informing and educating customers about window treatment options. "I always loved the auto sector, boats and motorcycles," adds the 26-year technology executive who pivoted to the Tint World business model in December 2020.
The first Tint World Center opened in 1982 in Tamarac, Florida. Company officials now indicate the business is the leading franchised provider of automotive, residential, commercial and marine window tinting and security film services in the US.
Brad says the correct window tinting can reduce infrared heat by up to 85% while minimizing glare. He says treated windows also decrease UV by 99%, which helps protect and preserve hardwood floors, furniture, photos and artwork. "Most people don't realize their property is getting damaged, because the loss happens gradually over time."
They offer various levels of privacy tinting as well, along with decorative films. He says some people want to help cover large front doors that are see-through, or to provide some privacy for conference rooms. For that, he says they have film options that even look like etched glass.
"We enjoy solving issues for our clients. For instance, we were contacted by one client because they struggled to get their kids' bedrooms cool in the summer. Both rooms are over the garage and take a beating by the morning sun. In addition, the rest of the home heats up significantly with the glass entry door and front windows taking in the full sun," explains Brad. "Our client selected our highest performing film for 80% IR heat reduction, 58% glare reduction, 99% UV protection and 36% Visible Light Transmission (VLT). You could immediately feel the difference."
He says they help customers understand that window tinting in homes or buildings versus autos requires a different approach due to larger space being protected.
Tint World Automotive Styling Centers, like Brad's, also specialize in mobile electronics, performance and styling accessories, custom wheel and tire packages, auto detailing and reconditioning services.
This local six-member Tint World team services Chester and Delaware counties, as well as part of Montgomery County. They provide complimentary consultations. Brad says he plans to open two other retail locations, and is scouting potential spots in the King of Prussia and Exton areas.
