Hello and Happy Summer! If you are searching for some top notch cocktails being served in the East Valley this summer, look no further! I am here to share with you 4 amazing drinks that are not only deliciously refreshing but available at some of our favorite local restaurants.
#1 - The first one can be found at The Hidden House located in Downtown Chandler. They are offering several different cocktails this summer, but my recommendation is the Single Serve Slaps. It is crafted from Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose, black tea, lemon oleo, lemon juice, and bubbles. With it's light and citrusy flavors it is a must try this summer! While there, make sure you ask the bartender how this drink is made...it is a VERY cool process!
#2 - Next on the list is the Blue 32 Whiskey Smash which combines Woodford Reserve Bourbon, fresh lemon & club soda mixed with your choice of strawberry, cherry, or peach from the Blue 32 Sports Grill summer cocktail menu. My recommendation is cherry - this is a delightful concoction that will quench your thirst on one of our smoldering hot days this summer. With four Blue 32 locations in the East Valley, it will be easy to stop by and enjoy one.
#3 - You'll want to make sure you check out The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler as well. The Amalfi Spritz is my recommendation on their summer cocktail list - not only is it beautiful but this concoction is delicious too. It is made up of prosecco, fiorente elderflower, orchard pear, combier bleu, and Mediterranean tonic. If you choose to sip on this in their designated Happy Hour area, you can benefit from one of the appetizers at a great price - any time! Happy Hour all day, every day - what's not to love about that?
#4 - Last but certainly not least, Bar Viñedo in Queen Creek is offering three cocktail specials this summer and my choice is the "To-Kill-Ya" Old Fashioned with Los Vecinos Espadin mezcal, Rancho Allegre Blanco Tequila, Agave, and Más Molé bitters. This traditional cocktail with it's unique twist is a great way to cool down this summer. Enjoy this with your dinner at Bar Viñedo or while enjoying one of their fantastic food specials during happy hour!
