Can you tell us a bit about the services you offer to your clients?
I provide comprehensive design services, taking clients through every step of the process—from new builds and remodels to selecting furnishings and decor. Additionally, I offer specialized Christmas decorating services to bring extra warmth and festive charm to homes during the holidays.
What can clients expect when working with you from start to finish?
Clients can expect a smooth, stress-free experience as their vision unfolds. I focus on delivering a seamless design process, ensuring their project comes together exactly as they envisioned, every step of the way.
How would you describe your signature design style, and how do you personalize it for each client?
My design style is influenced by my time working with Magnolia, which initially drew me to modern farmhouse aesthetics inspired by Joanna Gaines. Over time, this evolved into what I now consider my signature style—European Cottage. I always listen closely to my clients’ preferences and work to incorporate any specific elements they love, whether it’s a color, texture, or piece of furniture. I aim to make every project feel unique, which keeps the process fresh and exciting as I blend personal touches into the overall design.
What advice would you give homeowners about the best places to invest in upgrades or home improvements?
For remodels, I believe paint and lighting are the most impactful updates—both can transform the entire feel of a space. When it comes to new builds, however, the kitchen should be the top priority. But across both remodels and new builds, lighting truly makes a statement. You might have similar white walls as your neighbors, but your choice of light fixtures can add personality and character to your home, setting it apart.
What are some of the newest design trends we should be looking out for?
We’re seeing an emphasis on layered trim details and a shift toward warmer color palettes. These trends are giving spaces a cozier, more inviting atmosphere while maintaining a modern aesthetic.
How do you stay up-to-date with current interior design trends and industry innovations?
I draw inspiration from everywhere—whether it’s during travels, a visit to a new restaurant, or just exploring daily life. But I especially stay informed by attending design markets. These events are a treasure trove of emerging trends and styles, offering valuable insights into what's next in the world of interior design.
