What’s trending in home organization right now?
People are spending more time in their homes and they are looking to create an oasis of comfort. That might mean adding a pop of color, specialty lighting, glass inserts and other personal touches. At Closet Factory, we recently did a pantry in ivory with all backing in a beautiful wood grain – this was a fun project that highlighted the client’s personality. We are also getting a lot more requests for home offices, which isn’t too surprising since more professionals are working from home now.
What’s new in closet design?
There is always something new in closet organization. On a regular basis we have clients with a unique idea for their closet. That is part of what sets us apart – we like to take on a challenge and think outside the box. We also work well with slanted ceilings and creating beautiful organization in even the smallest spaces.
If someone wants to reorganize their closet, where do they start?
Close your eyes and walk into the closet of your dreams. Truly imagine it. Think about things you may want in your closet – drawers, shelving, hampers, a shoe display, etc. Open your eyes and prioritize the features you like. Write a list. Then invite one of our designers into your home to begin the collaboration process. Work with your designer to incorporate those imagined features you love the most. You’d be surprised how the designer can convert your closet dream into a reality.
How can Closet Factory help clients organize their entire homes?
We don’t limit ourselves to closets. We can work throughout the home – office, library, pantry, laundry, garage, etc. Our designers thrive on finding unique organizational solutions. They truly set themselves apart by listening to the client, understanding how the client lives, taking inventory of what the needs are and pulling it all together.
