Since the company's conception in November 2009, Five Star Event Services' staffers have built a reputation as experienced, skilled event and wedding planners across the DFW area.
Located in the Mill District of historical downtown McKinney, Five Star Event Services is a one-stop shop for all event services, including catering, wedding and event planning, along with rentals. Jason Lewis, founder and chief operating officer, takes pride in the reputation and experience he has built over the last 14 years.

FarmHaus Catering by Five Star Event Services specializes in full-service, scratch-style catering. Every dish uses fresh, seasonal produce and high-quality ingredients to craft exquisite dishes with the finest ingredients from scratch. Rental services include chargers, dishes, linens, glassware, and utensils. To help clients get the most out of their events and weddings, Five Star Event Services offers four different planning packages. In addition to catering and rentals, services offered include planning and coordinating, design services, and contracting trusted vendors.
In June 2022, Jason launched FarmHaus Oasis, a resort-style VRBO accommodation. Tucked into the Western edge of McKinney, this secluded luxury resort is a perfect setting for bridal and baby showers, parties, retreats, wellness gatherings, rehearsal dinners and other special events.
The resort features a lush, private oasis-style backyard, outdoor kitchen, sunroom, covered entertaining patio, entertainment-friendly indoor/outdoor bar, a fire pit and an oasis party pool with a grotto and waterfalls. The custom farmhouse-style home features three bedrooms and two and a half baths. It sleeps up to 10 guests.
FarmHaus Oasis guests also may choose from multiple add-ons, including a private chef, bartending services, catering and linen rentals, an on-site event coordinator, and other event packages.
Jason broke ground last October on what will be known as "The FarmHaus." This 1.5-acre farm in McKinney ETJ will be the location for Five Star Event Services’ kitchen, showroom, offices and rental processing center. He says the new location also will house chickens and a garden where vegetables and herbs will be grown to be used in FarmHaus catering.
