UnCork and UnWine: Sip, Savor, Support

The Twenty Pearls Foundation Presents Their Annual Wine Tasting to Fund Scholarships and Community Programs

On October 8, the Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. will host their annual wine tasting event, UnCork and UnWine: Sip, Savor, Support. The foundation members have been busy this year raising funds necessary through innovative means to support their many community programs. This event will be the first in-person fundraising event the foundation has held since 2019 as a result of COVID-19. While several virtual events have been hosted during the pandemic, the foundation members are eager to reengage with their community at this in-person entertaining and philanthropic experience. Held at the chic Hotel Colee in the Buckhead area, the event includes wine and whiskey tastings, a hosted cigar lounge, live entertainment, an auction, and most of all FUNdraising! Historically, the unCork and unWine event, which premiered in 2019, has been very successful in raising money for scholarships and numerous local community programs facilitated by the foundation.

Last year alone, the foundation awarded over $65,000 in scholarships to high school seniors in East Point, College Park, and South Fulton, Georgia. Now more than ever, the community depends on the foundation’s many programs and services and foundation members are committed to remaining steadfast in their service and impact. The Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. was established in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) organization by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter, for fundraising, community involvement, and scholastic achievement.
