Born in the states, but raised in Mexico, TalentbySP owner, Sonia Pacheco’s parents instilled a strong work ethic in her from a young age. Sonia's first job in Human Resources was for the San Diego Convention Center and would be the foundation on which her passion and dedication would be built. Interacting with highly educated professionals who left their homelands in pursuit of the American dream; physicians, attorneys, professors, engineers, and accountants all seeking entry level positions. They shared a common thread of strong values, often reminding Sonia of her parents’ incredible work ethic. “I consider myself fortunate to have had such enriching encounters and believe my life's mission is to help individuals unlock their full potential and achieve success.”
Now, her career spans over 20 years as an expert in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Management, Sonia has successfully led recruitment efforts for companies from small family-owned businesses to large public corporations. Having reviewed over 100,000 resumes and successfully hired over 10,000 exceptional candidates she has a proven track-record of finding top-talent and building strong teams.
Sonia is embarking on the next stage of her professional journey by starting TalentbySP, a certified career-coaching and talent acquisition consulting company. “My goal is to empower people with the knowledge and insights they need to navigate the job market confidently.” Sonia shares.
